Thrilling news! We’ve just found out we’re won the Meryvn Stutter Spirit of the Fringe Award!
Fringe legend Mervyn gives out about seven of these awards each year, to talented companies whose shows capture what the Fringe is about. We’re very honoured to join the prestigious list of winners, which dates back to 1992.
The award comes just a day after we performed on Mervyn Stutter’s Pick of the Fringe show, a daily round-up of fringe highlights that takes place at The Pleasance Courtyard. As an award-winner, we’ll appear in the line-up again on the last day of the fringe, in a special show where the awards will be presented.
This joins the two other awards for Titus Andronicus: an all-female production – The Buxton Fringe Award for Best Production and the John Beecher Award, alongside the awards we bagged for last year’s Romeo & Juliet: an all-female production.
In other news, don’t forget we’ve got our online Q&A coming up on Thursday – send us your questions now!
