Well, our team have all left beautiful Buxton now, after a splendid, sunny Fringe. (Buxton, sunny, same sentence – yup, you read that right!).
In eight days, we won two awards (and a nomination), had 207 audience members (making us the top selling show at Underground Venues), got one review (which was awesome), had three previews published, performed five shows, visited Buxton Food Spot three times (for their infamous Curry Pizza), saw loads of great shows, and had a whale of a time.
It’s been a lovely festival, with great audiences (both in quantity and quality), and as always, the ideal place to preview a show. We’ve learnt so much about the piece by putting it in front of an audience, so thank you to everyone who came. If you didn’t get a chance to fill out our feedback book, you can let us know your thoughts here. All feedback, positive or negative, is really useful.
Big thank you to everyone who made the show possible in Buxton. As well as our own lovely team, this couldn’t have happened without the help of (in alphabetical order): Alyson & Steve Phillips, Barbara & John Wilson, Beth & Derek Webb, Jim Morgan, John Evans, Kiera Michaelis, Marcus Crabb, Rachel Cleary, and all the staff at Buxton Opera House, Buxton Fringe, and of course Underground Venues… and the dozens of other people that helped us along the way.
Next: three days rest in London, before Titus touches down in Edinburgh. It’s gonna get messy…
