Announcing our new show…

Home / News / Announcing our new show…

With Titus Andronicus up-and-running in Greenwich (after a wonderful opening last night), it’s time for us to announce our summer plans… and our new show!

We’re very excited to reveal that Titus Andronicus will be returning to the Edinburgh Fringe this year after a UK tour (full dates below). After taking the Fringe by storm in 2013 we’re transferring to a much bigger venue: Pleasance Dome’s beautiful King Dome.

But as if that’s not enough, every day, we’ll also be performing a brand new show all for your delight. We’d like to introduce you to…

Othello: an all-female production from Smooth Faced Gentlemen

We’ve been wanting to produce this show for years (dropped a lot of hints), and the time has finally come! Both shows will play everyday, with the same eight-person cast.

Othello will be playing at Underbelly‘s excellent Topside space, on Potterrow. This is our first time working with Underbelly. The space is large and incredibly well-equipped, and you can trust we’ll be pushing it to its limits!

Both shows are also touring around the country. We’ll be visiting our old favourite the Buxton Fringe, showing previews in London, and assorted other towns. The full list of announced dates are below, though we have a few others we can’t yet reveal… If you’d like us to come and visit your theatre or area, drop us a line and we’ll see if we can fit it in.

If you’re interested in supporting the future of the work, and helping us visit more places, please do take a look at our supporter’s scheme.

In the meantime, come along and see Titus Andronicus at Greenwich! It’s running until Saturday. We won’t be in a venue as large or beautiful for quite some time. The show fits into the space amazingly, thank to the work of a brilliant designers.

Especially if you’re interested in joining our team or cast in the summer, we’d love to hear what you think so do say hi after the show! For certain roles, particularly the assistant director and our actors, having seen the show will of course be a bit of an advantage.

In any case, whether you’re an audience member or artist, we hope you’re as excited as we are about the year ahead. Be sure to add your email to our newsletter to stay up to date. It’s going to be a great 2015!
